As you might have read, I love the city of Sevilla: it is my home away from home. I have lived there and visited numerous times afterwards. I just can’t get enough of the delicious food, picturesque alleys and great atmosphere. Time to share some of my best advice and spread the love!
Over the past 12 years I have been to Andalucía many times, mostly staying in Sevilla. During these trips I explored a lot of Andalucía: from well-known to less touristic places. Here’s a list of places I enjoyed, focusing on those a bit more off the beaten track.
Food and drinks are a major part of all my trips. In the morning, I often find myself already thinking about where we could go for lunch, dinner or drinks later. It wasn’t any different in Tallinn and Helsinki, and we ended up finding some great places that I will share in this post.
Last week I visited Tallinn, Estonia’s capital. A city that is not well known, and I didn’t know what it had to offer either. Turns out, Tallinn is an undiscovered gem! It has a medieval center with charming cobblestone alleys, as well as some very hip neighborhoods full of street art and industrial architecture.
Last June my parents took me, my husband and sister on a trip to the Algarve in Portugal for their 30-year anniversary. Lucky us! I had not been to the Algarve before, but we will definitely be back, because this region has it all: beaches, authentic towns, great food and – of course – lots of sunshine.
It’s been years since I visited Stockholm, but the past few months several friends of mine asked for tips for this city. So I thought I might as well put them in a blogpost. Since most of them are sights, I think they should still be up to date.
On the way to Australia we had a 2,5 day stopover in Singapore. Of course this was a great opportunity to see the city, but it also made the long trip to Melbourne a bit more bearable. We enjoyed Singapore a lot, and were able to get a good impression in just a few days!
Perth was the last place on our Australia itinerary, and we did save one of the best cities for last! This city has a relaxed vibe. It has amazing street art, cool bars, a permanent festival and a huge park offering great views. We had just one day here and I’ll share our itinerary.
